Currently the overlay is bound to Shift + Tab with no way of rebinding it to say Shift + F2.

This is a problem for me personally when playing multiplayer shooters as the Run key is often Shift and the Scoreboard key is often Tab so instances of accidental initiation happen all the time so I rebound overlays from other platforms.
I cant understand why they don't have this as an option in settings from the start?

EDIT: Almost 2 years sins OP did this post and still no option to rebind the overlay key?

WE NEED THIS OPTION.
Thanks.
Agreed. This is definitely needed.
I'm currently playing Outward where Shift is for running and Tab toggles target lock. Shift+Tab = stand still and get beat up while you try to close the overlay... great.

Just because Valve does something (default also being Shift+Tab for Steam overlay) doesn't mean it's good - yet I have to give kudos to Steam's option to rebind the overlay to different keys (Shift+F1 in my case btw).

Came here to figure out how to rebind it for Galaxy Overlay... kinda shocked that it's not possible. I would disable the overlay entirely until this is solved, but losing the F12 screenshot feature would suck big time :(

@GOG: until you get around to code a proper rebind - could we at least get an option to disable the three current key combos one by one? Then I would disable Shift+Tab and could still use Ctrl+Shift+Tab for FPS overlay and F12 for taking a screenshot.
I am absolutely amazed there is no option to edit the key for the overlay, especially when the default KBaM controls for your latest game (Cp2077) directly conflict with the default hotkey combination to bring up the overlay. Try scanning in 2077 and hit shift while doing it and the overlay pops up. I was hoping to have a framerate display and not have to start rivatuner every time I start the game but until the hotkey is changeable that obviously isn't an option.

Shift should never be a modifier for an overlay when it is so commonly used in games as a default, often used key. It's like these people don't play games.

Why is this not available? Simple to add and very useful. Now it's a cause of conflicts with other apps.
Bump!!! Has this been solved yet? My hardcore character almost died !!!
With Tab being scan in CDPR's flagship title Cyberpunk it seems even more of a massive oversight that the overlay keys cannot be changed. The only current solution is still simply to turn off the overlay completely for the game.
If we could change it in some .ini file it would be great too. Why GOG, why?
Please add this option. Many game types have conflict with these bindings, even your own. eg: Witcher 3, TAB: target, SHIFT: run. Those pretty commonly used toghether and it is very inconvenient to rebind in-game if someone has years of muscle memory for such actions in similar games. Please allow us to change overlay shortcut.

I am running into issue because shift key in cyberpunk is running and tab is to use my hacks and scanning

so when I am in combat overlay is coming up all time in middle of combat.

I requested answer to this in the gog supports as a ticket.

I think every one should bug them about this.

steam, UBI, EA, all allow you to change bindings for interface overlays along with screenshots this is only a GOG issue.

Please, give us this option, it's pretty basic stuff.
Bump.
Years later and lazy gog can't take 5 minutes to do this.
