Hey all,
I recently restored my PC to factory and reinstalled everything to freshen it up a bit and everything fine; have reinstalled my Steam and Ubisoft games through their clients no problem.
I've downloaded the latest version of GOG Galaxy to get all my GOG games back and they show up in my Owned games, but whatever of them I try to download i just get that grey box with the endlessly spinning circle. Sometimes it will eventually disappear and I get 'server error'.
I have set the various GOG applications to be allowed through firewall but it 's just the same, I have also tried deleting the folder "C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage" but to no avail.
Is it a problem on my end or is there a way i can check if the GOG servers are actually down for downloading games?
I've searched on the net for a solution but haven't come up with anything that will work. I know there's a way to download the games manually in parts from the GOG site but i would rather use Galaxy if i can.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
*edit* OK, i thought i'd see what happened to just sit there clicking the button and it finally got somewhere - instead of server error i got the download popup, so it has begun to download! Will post back in a few hours when it gets to 100% ;) At least it shows there's not a full-blockage at either end; maybe it's a traffic issue.
