OK here goes. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Gold Edition (KCD2) I bought it played it but untill today with the new big update it did not work & all I got was the "Installation Failed E3 failed to connect to GOG Server" problem.

I did all the basic things, shut down computer, started gog galaxy again nothing. Tried uninstalling it. Then I tried installing it again but now its stuck on 92% and won't finnish. Tried Uninstalling it again (eventhough it was never completly installed" but now it says E15 unable to uninstall the game.

When I try to continue the install it works for 3-5 seconds before giving the E3 error again. So now I have an cannot install or install errors (never happend before with any game on gog).

Searched the GOG help page told my norton antivirus to ignore the files that GOG recommends it to ignore - Nothing
Tried to uninstall then reinstall Galaxy - Nothing
Tried to run galaxy as an administrator - Nothing
Tried to lower the bandwith settings for galaxy - Nothing
Tried to disable that IPv6 setting - Nothing
Tried to completly disable norton anti virus - Nothing (did not do all these things at once but 1 by 1 before reversing the change)

As for the gog reccomendations to uninstall it says to: Open GOG GALAXY and navigate to the problematic game.
> Click Customize button > Manage Installation > Show folder
> Locate the file “unis000.exe” and try to run it

I can't click the Show Folder button because its not clickable "it's there but not clickable" went into the files manually but could not find any file called "unis000.exe"

Been searching forums the entire day but these solutions that worked for other people does not work for me and I have 2 errors now E3 & E15 depening on what i try.

Finally might be worth mentioning but Previously I did buy KCD2 about a month ago but my old computer was unable to handle it so i asked for a refund which I got - then several weeks later I actually got a brand new computer just to play this game - contacted support had them reset the purchase button on GOG so I could buy the game again "which I did - wanted to do right by GOG" Since it's DRM free and all but I don't see how that could have been a problem.

P.S. game worked fine untill this new update today, also on Windows 11. good internet, brand new computer, I've also seen other people on forums saying that it stopped at 92% for them - althought the game says 79,92 out of 80 gigs downloaded before it stops. Dont know what thats about but WTF do I do to fix this??? Anyone?

The correct filename is unins000.exe. Keep in mind all GOG game folders contain this uninstaller, so take care not to run the wrong one by mistake.

If it's really missing from the game folder, then it seems your installation was incomplete. Try the following:
1. Exit GOG Galaxy.
2. Open the C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage folder and move galaxy-2.0.db to the desktop.
3. Start GOG Galaxy. It will import your list of owned games from the server. Once that finishes,
4. Click the cogwheel in the top left, choose Add Games & Friends, then Scan Folders for GOG Games. Pick the parent folder where your GOG games are installed. Once that's done,
5. Check if the game in installed and playable. If not, click the "More" button next to the Play button and choose Manage Installation, then Verify/Repair.

If that also fails, I can only suggest trying the offline installers. You can download them from the Extras tab. A game installed via offline installers can be added to GOG Galaxy using the above method.

OK thanks for trying - I opend up the storage folder as you said but I have 2 db files in that folder:Nr.1 "galaxy-2,0-db-shm" file & 2 a "galaxy-2.0.db-wal" file. Also noticed that those 2 files only exist when I have galaxy opend, if I close galaxy they dissapear. And I can't move them with galaxy opened.

As for part 4. I did do that and it did import KCD2 back so it now actually started showing up in "installed games once again" And the "updating part" started again but failed. (At first "initially" that's what it was trying to do "Updating but failing" then after I uninstalled it, it just tried to install & failing. Now since its back in the installed folder its as I said back to trying to update.

I can however play it once again just without the update, (also all stuff listed under DLC is not installed meaning I can't continue my saved games. It's like the base game is back but nonthing of the extra stuff different language voice packs dlc & so on. As for part 5 no changes for that - But a bit of progress atleast.

Thanks for trying to help though.

I managed to fix it thank you very much - your solution did not get me all the way there but let's say step 1 out of 2 so thank you very much.
