Hey, I recently got a free game that needed the galaxy laucher, is this the case with all games including Stellaris in perticular?

Edit: When the offline version says 'nor on-line features' does that include the online features for stellaris?

I don't think so as they don't handle the online features. Paradox does

Nothing needs the launcher, if a game has online then maybe sometimes but never for the single player portion.

yes the off line installer works without Galaxy

if you don't want to use Galaxy to play Stellaris then you can also grab the key (shows in Browsers only) and use that to unlock the Paradox installer... this lets you download any build instead of just the last 5

to be clear, works = single play only... if you want to play your mates in Stellaris then you need Galaxy [or Paradox launcher] to handle the sign in and both NEED a paradox account

to use the Paradox launcher you will also NEED to link your Gog key to this Paradox account... if you only want Galaxy then you need an account but you don't need to link the key to it
