Just installed Galaxy today, EA worked fine, I had to do the consts.py edit found in the other thread to fix ubi, but I can't get steam to connect and I can't find any fixes like the consts.py one for ubi. I tried clearing the app data / cache etc as suggested in other topics about this across the internet but no dice.

Thanks

Yeah, it's not working for me either. Always has in the past but today in the Settings it says the Steam integration is "Offline" and clicking retry does nothing.
Also not working, even when removing all plugin files and completely uninstalling and reinstalling GoG Galaxy when that also didn't work. Very frustrating.
Having the same issue.

I just managed to finally fix the PSN one, and now Steam is broken. And my Humble Bundle one has been broken for like a year.
It's broken for me too.

It just wasn't updating at first after installing the latest Galaxy update, so I disconnected and tried to reconnect. End up in a loop of "Offline - Retry" status.
Same here. Steam integration seems to have been broken in the latest release. I've never had a problem with it until the most recent update to Galaxy,
Same. My steam "connects" but then says - Offline retry.
I've searched and implemented various fixes from GitHub to try and resolve the issue (suggested by others in the community). No success
None of them have worked.

Could someone make a patch/hotfix for this? Thank you! :)

The Steam plugin isn't an official GOG integration and the community dev maintaining it left the project, so patches/updates might not be coming soon, if at all.
Same thing here. Steam connection has been offline since the most recent update.
I tried removing it and adding it back. It gave me a Steam login prompt, a successful Steam 2FA code, then gave me a loading spinning wheel saying "connecting" for a very long time until it gave up and says "Offline" like it did before.
yup Same here, fresh windows install. Steam offline retry loop bug.

I've left an issue over on the github lets see if anyone get's back
Same situation for me.
+1 with the same problem.

I've been using GOG Galaxy for years, but lately, the plugins have been so unstable that I'm seriously thinking about switching to Steam as my one-launcher-to-rule-them-all.

It would be great if GOG took over responsibility for maintaining the plugins themselves, so that whenever there's an issue, like changes to the API of a service, they would have a paid dev to fix it quickly.
I'm also having problems with the Steam plug in just saying it's 'offline' all the time.

I've never had a problem with Steam until I recently updated Gog Galaxy to version 2.0.60 - now Steam won't integrate.

I can see a lot of people have had this problem before and possible solutions have been suggested elewhere.

I've closed Gog Galaxy and tried deleting the 'steam_...' files at C:\Windows\ProgramData\Gog.com\Galaxy\storage\plugins

and I've tried deleting the 'steam_...' folder at C:\Windows\Users\[ACCOUNT NAME]\AppData\Local\Gog.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed

I've also tried deleting the steam_plugin_config.ini in that same folder.

But when I start Gog Galaxy again, none of these things seem to make any difference!

I log into Steam again through Gog Galaxy and input the security code and it whirls for a bit but eventually it just says 'Offline Retry.'

Clicking 'Retry' doesn't work either.

Will reverting back to Gog Galaxy 2.0.55.99 help in any way?

Also I've noticed in the folder C:\Windows\Program Files (x86)\Gog Galaxy\plugins there only seems to be two folders: 'GalaxyPluginEpic' and 'GalaxyPluginXbox'

Should there not be a 'GalaxyPluginSteam' folder also? Or am I misunderstanding how Gog Galaxy integrations work?

I somehow finally managed to get indiegala to integrate, so I don't understand why I can't get Steam to.

Any suggestions?

And what is PlayNite like? Is that a better option to keep all your games in one place?

I didn't know about PlayNite but I'm going to give it a shot. If it's any good, goodbye GOG Galaxy.
Same problem here ... hope that there will be a solution ...
