Hello, since a week or so ago, Galaxy stopped working. Initially, it would still open but show that it could not connect. I then re-installed the client. Now however, it will not let me login. After I type my credentials, it will spin the wheel and then ask me for the password again (while showing my account name and email). The program is also very slow to load and even slow to install. I tried to install an older version of the client, same issue.

Weird thing is, on my other PC everything works normally. I did not make any major changes before the client stopped working. I do have a bunch of stuff installed that could potentially conflict (Citrix client, Avermedia cam engine, virtual DVD drive, etc.) however Galaxy used to work with all of these installed.

I'm on Windows 10 21H2, my PC is a R7 5800X on a MSI MEG X570 Unify, no BIOS update in the recent past. The GPU is a 2070 Super and I've had it installed for 1.5 years, the SSD I'm installing to works perfectly fine as well.

I'd post logs, but I don't know where they are.

I've already added an exception to the firewall and excluded the Galaxy folder from Windows Defender. Running the client as administrator does not help either.

Hello,

1. While GOG Galaxy isn't running, create a backup copy of the following folders. You can get to all but the last one by pasting the location into the File Explorer address bar.
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com
%LocalAppData%\GOG.com
<Your documents folder>\GOG Galaxy\ -- this one probably doesn't exist if you didn't take any screenshots.
2. Uninstall GOG Galaxy.
3. If the above folders stuck behind, delete them manually. Also double-check that the GOG Galaxy installation folder is gone. The default location is
C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy
4. Install the latest version of GOG Galaxy using the offline installer. Double-check your firewall and other security software settings afterwards.
5. If the problem persists, while GOG Galaxy isn't running, zip up the following folder.
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\logs
Attach that to a support ticket about the problem. You'll have to repeatedly tell the chatbot it isn't helpful, after which it should ask for your e-mail address. Once the ticket is open, it may take weeks to get a response from support.

Thank you :-) I tried those steps and unfortunately it is still not working. The log files show a number of errors and warnings, I will contact support.
