When installing a game since update 2.0, the desktop shortcuts appear blank white. Any fix for this?

I've got the same problem. Reinstalling the games or GOG Galaxy doesn't help at all. I have to delete the blank icon, go to the GOG games folder, then the app folder, and from there have to create a shortcut of the game's exe. It's a bit of a pain the arse and very pity that GOG hasn't fixed this problems for years.

I noticed while experiencing same thing, that whenever it happens my 3rd party firewall ask permission for sciptinstall.tmp to access internet. Even when I grant access icons remain blank BUT when I deactivate my firewall, from what I remember, icons starts working again.

Maybe windows firewall blocks something during your installs?
