So, I get the error in the attached image when trying to install the GOG GALAXY client. It translates to something like "A error occurred while trying to create a file in the destination directory: Access denied". Anyone knows what cause it and how to fix it?

Greetings,
Lucas

what caused it = your system protects that folder from spam because its important

fix 1 = right click the installer and run as admin [assumes you downloaded the stand alone installer]

if Gog Galaxy is just auto updating you will either need to give it permission [steps depend on where you installed Galaxy but as long as you don't have it in c program files you should be okey] or the other option is to use a stand alone installer

stand alone installers [edit] this link should auto update as time passes to always show the lastest Galaxy install... needed because Gog has changed how they store backup files making old links break if not updated

Even by running it as admin does not fix it. Never mind, I will reinstall Windows because I probably messed up the access rights doing things in the terminal. Thanks for the help
