It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

DelusionsBeta: You have to use their software, and iTunes for Windows is crap. Although there's some alternatives to iTunes (e.g. 7digital.) Although, again, regional restrictions apply (bloody record labels, enforcing £1 =$1).

Aliasalpha: Yeah but a full Gil Scott Heron album for 4 quid is still pretty good. How is that 7digital place with DRM?
I've used 7digital in canada (via hmvdigital.ca) and their music is drm free and usually 320kbps. They're based in the uk so I didn't have to pay any taxes. There's no client required either. Just go to your account and download. There's also a downloader I believe for downloading multiple songs at once. I recommend it.

Good to get confirmation on the drm free part. I decided to splurge and spend 4 quid on myself since its only 7 bucks in real money and I figure if they fucked me over with DRM I'd just pirate to get what I paid for

Roman5: This is a big problem not only with microsoft

Too many companies simply focus so much on the US region while almost ignoring other ones

Microsoft did it
Nintendo did it
Many publishers did it

and they paid or are paying the price for it
Add all the big name game publishers, to them outside the north american, european and other countries, the rest of the regions simply do not show.
Surely you get screwed over by regional pricing on steam at least, its one of its great features (and I mean great as in huge rather than great as in very good)

All MP3, no DRM, usually 320kbps (can vary). Optional downloader, but like GOG you can use your browser. You purchases is helpfully zipped into a single folder. Redownloads seem to be unlimited too, but I'm not too sure. In general, better than iTunes.

Rondel: Welcome to Europe.
Actually, the situation is great considering music and digital distribution in Europe. :) Most of the EDM labels are Europe-based so we have quite a few choices when it comes to lossless, DRM-free music. :)

(I don't listen to other stuff, only trance, so I can't say that rule applies to everybody)
