I am not much of a rts player. I am only good at turn based games lol.

Is this game easy to figure out and play?

What is your opinion?

I thought it looked very interesting and got it, but it never worked well on my xp machine. If gog offers it I might try again. Wish I could be more help. Good luck.
Why? Why? Why?
Why did you have to create this thread? There was one about Knights of Honor created... let's see... 19 hours before this one. It's not so long ago.
You even posted there! Remember?!

Controls are easy to pick up and play.Even a in game tutorial.
How easy or hard the game is.Depends, did you start out as a big powerful empire or a small kingdom?
may want to give late middle age's starting date with Byzantine a try,if its your first game.
Byzantine in the middle age's late starting date, has 3 towns under its control. One of them[Constantinople.] being a free city with many costly buildings all ready in place.
A good number of them will help you fight off any one trying to take the town.In other words, its very very hard to lose this city.Unless you destroy every last building in the town.
As a follower of Orthodoxy faith, your troops will at the start of the game will not have very good morale.Best to spend your first skill point with a general on leadership,to boost that morale,so they all don't go running for the hills.

There are pros and cons. If you're approaching this from a turn based strategy background then you'll probably have an easier time grasping the fundamentals of the game than someone who's used to more typical RTS.

But that's just it. It's very unconventional. Which I don't consider a bad thing at all. But if you're looking to branch out then Knights of Honor is not going to leave you any the wiser as to weather or not RTS are for you.
