Hi everyone, I'm looking for the name of an old PC game which I never played entirely but only as demo.

I remember some sort of 3D tank / mech third-person shooter, and some sort of underground setting, with lava and maybe alien stuff... I don't recall any in-game human character.
I'm pretty sure it came out in late '90s (97 or 98 maybe), like Terracide, Escape ODT, Dethkarz, Powerslide...


Any guess is much appreciated! :)

Forsaken took place underground, I think.

Not Forsaken, thanks for trying... Graphics were similar to Descent, but I vividly remember it as a third-person shooter Recoil was my father favourite game back in the days! :D
The game I'm searching had smaller levels (almost maze-like) and a more dark sci-fi oriented setting

That's funny, because I was recently looking for that game, too. I played it a long time ago and couldn't remember its name, either. It took me a while of digging through the Google to find it myself. It doesn't seem to be very well known, but it is still quite fun. :)
