mehall: I personally was aware of the site but didn't want yet another thing to check all the time. If someone wrote a Chrome userscript that automatically checked your GOGpm inbox and added a little "unread PMs" clicky box near the top of GOG forum pages I'd maybe use it, but I can't do JS to save myself.

Also: Xyem you have no idea how hard it was choosing. Almost went for Painkiller.

Barefoot_Monkey: That would be pretty cool. I'll look into Chrome userscripts some time. In fact, next week I'm planning to add an optional feature to send a notice to your email address if you have new messages - that would be another way for you to avoid having to keep checking for PMs.
I get enough emails that I'd end up not paying much attention but having an "Unread PM" button next to "My posts" on the forum pages would be really handy and a chrome/greasemonkey(firefox) userscript would do that simply enough.

Barefoot_Monkey: Hey, are you aware of GogPM? It's a private messaging system I made for sending short messages directly to other GOG users. Maybe you'll find it a more convenient way to give gift codes to people.

Darling_Jimmy: That reminds me. I finally was able to log in. My password manager had been autofilling the wrong field. D'oh!
Ah, so that was the trouble. I'm glad it's working for you now. Welcome aboard.

It shall be done. Just give me a while - it'll be more than a week before I'll have the chance.
