I've said it before, and I'll say it again. It's a shame we don't have it in our catalog here on GOG.com at the moment, but if you haven't gotten it already (I own 3 copies), picking up X-Com on Steam is a fantastic use of your 5 bucks.

Maybe I'm old and creaky, but the interface never seemed clunky to me. Also, the gameplay seems like Go: simple, but brain-breakingly hard once you really get into it.

Sectoid Commanders, man. Screw 'em.

I have no idea whatsoever. But I've been telling people on the forums since I got here that if you want to play the best tactical squad-based games, get JA2 and get XCOM.

JA2, of course, you should buy first because it's here. But once you've played that, get XCOM, wherever you can find it. ^_^
