Only for ios7+, so they made gold with all earlier versions.

And isn't enabled by default...

Still, it's wrong to claim that Apple just does not provide this functionality. And even with this feature, iOS remains the more viable market despite the smaller user base. Piracy is less widespread there and the average user is willing to spend more.
