Nah, it is a tad to expensive right now. But from all the "spiritual successors" it is the best one. I followed the project for quite a while now. I even have played the alpha for a while. It sounds really good an the graphics are really nice and the whole game looks and feels nice. The only thing now is that they need to fix some bugs and balance the whole game out. I'll just wait until the game is out.

UFO extraterrestrials sucks though, it is not that great.
Sod a new X-COM, i want the originals

UFO Extraterrestrials is awesome you just have to make damn sure you get the GOLD EDITION otherwise you have to mod the entire game yourself. Trust me with the GOLD EDITION of UFO Ex the game is freaking awesome.
Surprised no one has mentioned anything about Xenonauts yet, Its more like the sequel i was hoping to see to x-com.

Aaah, I would have mentioned it earlier, but I keep forgetting to. It definitely looks more interesting than "that other game" (I refuse to call it by that name) XD
I would very much like to see a sequel on an updated version of the Jagged Alliance engine (with multistory destructible buildings!-something JA2 does not have) I would like it even better if there was some way to make the recruits have more personality, kinda like how the mercs in JA2 all had individual personalities, while still having perma-death. The closest I can get to that feel as of now is fighting crepitus with rocket rifles.

Definitely, The Best Of XCom + The Best Of JA2 = The Greatest TBS Ever. Why nobody has made it, is beyond me :D
