Skunk: As well as anything in DOSBox should. And they're all DRM free. The learning curve won't prove to be too much for you. Manuals are included. There's nothing more important in your backlog. Stop trying to sidestep getting X-Com, there's no excuse.

X-COM UFO Defense has been keeping me sane after a day of working iOS support for Apple. In fact I had the Prima guide come in a couple days ago : P Friend of mine and I regularly play against each other in The Two Sides mod too.

Tempting, but I don't want to register to GG, and I still have a working copy of the first 3 games.

For that price it's an insane deal though. Even the first X-com is still worth far more than that.

Bought the bundle mainly for Apocalypse and Terror From The Deep.

Never played X-Com Enforcer before so I fired it up last night.

It's actually better than I expected. Plays like Serious Sam on the first Unreal engine and adds some RPGish elements to it.

Good for those short breaks when you just want to blow things apart and go on a mindless rampage. Not so good for anything else.

AFnord: Interceptor was not bad though, just different.

And terror from the deep, now that game was unfair. You step out of your submarine and *blam*, dead squad member. Take another step and *blam* another one dies. Even if you do manage to beat the mission, the game just sends you on a downward spiral right from the get go.
Never did get very far in that game :(
