It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Try to suppress (or move/backup) all BUT the SteamApps and the steam.exe to force an update.

You shouldn't do this if you are not familiar with the procedure, but it's the way to perform a 'brute update' of steam (edit: used for instance when you want to move your steam library).

As always, mine is working just fine.

Shadowstalker16: Its was an automatic update.

Pheace: Oops, I just went into beta mode because I read about it. Guess it had been a while since I restarted the client :)

Liking some of the library stuff.

Hide this game - Sweet. (Going to hide so many... lol)
Assign a game to more than one category at a time - also sweet.
Multiple game selection in library - Omg finally, that'll make group management so much easier

Looks like library management got a major boost.
Yeah, I was just moaning about the absence of most of this stuff in another thread the other day - cool beans!
Steam just came out with a new version that is totally different. So it makes sense that there will be problems for people who deviate from the normal path and don't install their games on C. This is not something that happens often so I wouldn't stop using Steam for that reason.

I don't install games on the default drive and everything is fine for me after the recent update. Could be one of those weird things that happen sometimes.

Ditto here, my games live in D: and had no problems with yesterday's update.
Steam forgetting that certain games are installed has happened to me a few times in the past, but luckily I had no problems in this update.

Overall, the client seems a lot better than before. Memory usage appears to be shaved down to about half of what it used to be, everything seems more responsive, nice new functionality, and it's great to have a fresh appearance every now and then.

Same here. Well, New Vegas doesn't want to run, but I guess I just messed something up installing mods :)

The latest update seems to remove the option to say no to updates so maybe Steam autoupdated the game and conflicted with the mods?

I guess I'll uninstall the game, remove all mod files and try to reinstall to see if fresh game runs properly...
But I think it was already up to date (don't think any updates were released during last few months)
Odd... all my games are still there, though shogun 2 doesn't work but that's for other Steam reasons lol.
there was some change done, to the layout. I did not get my games uninstaled but some of their settings were back to default. The "play" button is in plain blue, the steam icon on the tool bar and desktop is stylized in a Ps vita "bubble" fashion now. Quite cool looks, actually.
omg... a middlemouseclick on a game now brings up a new window with the store page... I can actually go through the client's coming soon list now and check out games without being thrown back to the start of the list every time D:
