Yeah, cool, I wan't moaning, I just thought that someone should announce that it's gone before anyone else wasted their time (at work, diggin out the laptop that actually HAS Steam installed, changing proxy settings so it can actually connect etc!)

Same thing happen to me several times too. But at that time i'm not bitter because i was pretty late actually. What game was it that time.. maybe Frozenbyte bundle or something like that. Oh and also GeForce twitter's Dungeon Siege III giveaways. They gave about 10 keys per-day for 3 consecutive days, but i got none of them. Quite pissed at that time because i'm waiting in front of my PC an hour waiting for the tweets.
