I remember this game because a lot of reviews said it was sad that the devs made lots of mistakes. Like really cheesy characters (especially the germans) and some major bugs.

Looked it up in the meantime. It was for the Saboteur as well, taking the service offline made the Midnight Club DLC unavailable apparently, which is something that added gambling games and strip shows to the game. It's not a multiplayer functionality being taken away or something but it took single player DLC from the people who bought it.

But then if it came to GOG I imagine they could have that inclusive, this was more to losing access to the download if you ever needed it again I think.
