GameRager: IMO, Deus Ex:IW is in old gamer's minds to Deus Ex as Bioshock is to System Shock series........alot of people wearing nostalgia goggles tend to get a bit upset when their favorite series includes a newer titls that doesn't closely follow the older ones. That's how it is, will be, and always has been it seems.
Yes. In my opinion Invisible War is still not as good as Deus Ex, but it's a good game nonetheless. I am positive this has nothing to do with nostalgia, since I played Invisible War fairly shortly after DX.

I agree as well. I actually completed Invisible War a year or two BEFORE I did Deus Ex, and I enjoyed Deus Ex much more.
Ok, thank you for everyone who has taken part of this discussion, maybe i wait until the christmas sales starts and get this game then.
Well, the worst selling GOG is now apparently Baldur's Gate 2. That sounds rather fishy.

Where do you check to see how they are selling? And just give it time people will slurp BG2 up quickly.

i think this kind of stuff is only updated weekly.

This link might work; if it doesn't, just select Browse games by bestselling.

Well, either Journey to the Centre of the Earth sells much better than I would expect, or BG2 sells much worse than I would expect. Or most likely, the thing's broken.

That's a good theory.

Not for long. I think BGII is going to beat PS:T if not Arcanum (no! not Arcanum! my precious!).

What people are looking at is the catalogue, sorted "by bestselling". Seems to be a honest accumulation of sales with no differential component whatsoever. No "popular now!", just total sales, accumulating from opening day and until the heat death of the universe.

So Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games is at the top, because all the members who signed up before Sep 20 got it automatically. The three always free games follow, because it takes effort to "buy" these. Tex Murphy was a Christmas giveaway in 2009. Fallout was on the site from the very beginning (I think). Arcanum was released in Jan 2010 but it's so awesome that its high rank is really not surprising.

EDIT: see, BG2 has already left Shadow Magic in the dust. #141 vs #213 of 248 games total.
