Hi everybody,
I always liked Worms games and I still own most of them (Worms Mayhem, Worms forts, Worms World party, Worms Armageddon...you get the idea). Now I see that in 4 hours new Worms title will be released but I see none hype...will it suck or what? I dont know what to expect and I want to ask you, who almost always give me great advice, should Worms fan go for this game?

I am one of the day 1 pre-purchasers... but I can imagine that it will suck... just because it is one of the 3D Versions I always hated!!!

I am waiting for the Worms Golf Version, they have announced a few weeks ago :)

Probably because it's re-release on Steam, worms mayhem was released quite some time ago and it's fucking awesome - and I mean really, really awesome, huge leap forward from Worms 3D. Still not as good as 2D worms mind you, but my wife for one thinks worms: mayhem is the best of the series.

I would say, if you liked the original Worms 3D, Worms Mayham or Worms Forts. Go get it! As it has a lot of improvements (at least, they say so).

If you did not liked the 3D Titles, but you like Worms (like me)... go get it (to support the developer. The Game is quite cheap).

If you have no clue about Worms. Try to have a look somewhere else first, if you like it.

As I mentioned in first post I love Worms and I played 3D and I thought they were great (no idea why so many fans hate 3D series)

then go get it, as long it is still discounted ;)

I was grown up with worms (since #1 on the Amiga and the amazing joke videos, which I do really miss in the latest games)... this could be the reason for me, why I do not like the 3D Version, but still love the 2D.

You'll get random map generator, fun campaign, great multiplayer, team editor, weapon editor, terrain editor (I think), there might be an editor editor thrown in, and you'll generally get an awful lot of fun
