Darling_Jimmy: Nicely put. "Least bad" should be their new slogan. But do you really have to eat margarine at all? Why not butter?
Well... I never asked. Besides, it has been more than a year since I reached my ideal weight. So I stopped visiting her.

Of course, since I moved to a new city, São Paulo, I'm still to enter a gym again. So I'm a bit too fat right now. :(

GameRager: Olivio is a good decently priced olive oil spread in the grocery aisle. I love it.
It contains more canola oil than olive oil.

GameRager: It's still yummy, and healthier than regular spreads.
That depends entirely on what you classify as regular spreads. Are nut butters spreads? And it would be easy enough to make your own olivioesque spread by combining equal parts butter and olive oil, some salt and whatever flavouring you like.

GameRager: Bah, you seem to think we all have the time and patience of Granny Clampett or something to be canning and pickling and jarring things. :P And by spreads I meant it's better than most margarines and the like.

Also butter is full of fat so it's not so healthy is large doses either.
Lacto-fermentation style canning is so easy. Submerge vegetables in salt water and screw the lid on. (Disclaimer: do read a little more on the subject before attempting lacto-fermentation. I wouldn't want you to get botulism.)

Also, the main ingredient in Olivio is milk fat.
