It seems Apple has revamped its iOS App store guidelines (and maybe Mac App store too?) maybe in part as a reflection of what happened to Wolfire ...
If you attempt to cheat the system (for example, by trying to trick the review process, steal data from users, copy another developer's work, or manipulate the ratings) your apps will be removed from the store and you will be expelled from the developer program.

I think that's perfectly reasonable, depending upon the process they use to determine compliance with that of course. I can't blame them for adding that clause, I'm a bit surprised it wasn't in there already, it's not good for Apple's image to have that sort of activity going on.
Anyone got a receipt in gif format that I forward them?

Yeah ... one of those situations I guess until it happens you don't really think about it, but I agree they should've seen that something like this was bound to happen eventually.

They are probably also responding to the app-data stealing scandals that have happened on mobile devices and Facebook.
Now all Wolfire has to do is make an amazing game, and we're golden.
