Short answer: WIzardry games are owned by a Japanese company, and the Japanese haven't really gotten into the downloadable game market yet. So it'll be a while, if ever.

I still remember being able to cross over the border and buy the second game right from the SirTech offices in the US which was about a 20 minute drive from where I lived in southern Ontario.

it was for a contest in december 2011 the screenshot is from StillLife, I edited it for 2012 Many other publishers to sign on board, so I'll keep it for now

Yes, if Team17 is the only publisher to sign on this year that would be massive disappointment.

"Sign a new Publisher on board" would to me suggest they only wanted 1

I certainly wish Wizardry would come out here. I'd like to be able to recommend Wizardry 8 to more people without having to mention "Oh, but it's not on any digital download services so your only options are ebay and piracy"
