Hello, while the Witcher EE product page says it is compatible with Windows 7 at both 32 and 64 bits, I've read at several websites that it does not in fact work in 64 bits. So before I buy it, I ask for a stronger confirmation over this. Thanks!

Played in on 3 computers all running 7 64 bit. No issues.

I have it on 2 computers that are running Windows 7 64 bit, and just now, I launched it on one, loaded a game and took the screenshot this attachment is part of after alt tabbing out. The preview window is black because it's a game. I haven't had any issues.

Tell those "several websites" that they're just stupidly wrong, okay? Neither the disc version nor GOG's version has any problem whatsoever running on Windows 64-bit.

The game runs just fine. Whatever the problem is it's not Windows. Might be a problem with some kind of backwater on board graphics chip. Most people will never accept how screwed over they've been with their pre-built PCs and will simply choose to blame the OS.
I have the boxed version it runs fine in win 7 64

Actually that WAS true, when the game was released it didn't worked with 64Bits Windows, that's because the TAGES copy protection drivers was incompatible with such OS.

But since they removed the Copy protection was removed with one of the patch the game works perfectly with 64Bits version.

Same here
No problems for me.
Even with TAGES, the game still works perfectly. TAGES have issued 'new' (in late 2009) drivers for their DRM system, so even that is not an issue.
have 3 editions one is from gog and all run fine... i can confirm win 7 64 nvidia and ati working...
It works.
When people have any problem with a game they tend to immediately blame the OS.
Thanks a lot guys! I'm getting the game then! :)

When Win 7 was released, the TAGES drivers were not compatible with it, probably that's why it lists TW as incompatible.
