Hi, first time posting here. I'm not sure if it's ok to mark this as "question/problem".

So I was browsing GOG.com today at work, looking at the pre-order for the Witcher 3, which offers 20% discount if I own Witcher 1 and 2, which I do, on Steam, and they even let me redeem a backup copy from GOG to get that reduced price of $47.99! With the same bonus offers as Steam and more, I mean, what a deal right?

But when I reached home and went to GOG.com, the currency displayed is Australian Dollar, which is way more expensive, and I live in Malaysia, I wasn't aware that Australia and Malaysia belong to the same region, coz I've been buying and playing Asian region games. I logged in to Steam and it shows $47.99 (turns out they have the same offer there).

I've heard that buying from GOG would directly support the developers, which is what I want to do, but if I have to pay more I'd rather buy from Steam, and they have trading cards there, which is always fun.

TL;DR: I live in Malaysia but GOG gives me Australian Dollar at home but US Dollar at work.

It is a good idea to contact Support about that matter. Since GOG hasn't implemented regional pricing correctly yet, there have been many "interesting" results, like Russians getting American prices and Greeks (like me) also getting American prices.

Good idea, I'll do that, thanks!
