Hey! I just redeemed my code. To my disappointment, i realized that i cannot download it and keep it, only read it online, and only in the "dark horse" webpage. Well, is GoG going to add this little extra bonus, as downloadable thing, under the witcher 3 shelf? I remember 2 had a comic book there, all too well...
GoG is starting to add DRM to their bonuses?

Not unless GOG owns Dark Horse these days. Like several things that have happened with the Witcher franchise, there may be some one-off occasions.

I don't *believe* that GOG or CDP have said anything about bringing the comic book to your shelf. At least not yet. I'm sure that if they can get the rights do so, they will.

Anyway. I read it. But i really was sad about not being downloadable. Shelf or no shelf, i would like a back up... Maybe i became TOO spoiled from previous releases??? :P

Another thing is, that the next issue is out, and this one is not free. It is at 2-3 euros to purchase. Either it will be gifted through a code in the future (i hope...?), or after quite some time, maybe, the entire comic book will be in game's shelf...

I believe it's just a marketing stunt by Dark Horse and Gog together (though I wouldn't know who had the idea first) to attract attention to the comic book series and sell more of it.

So, while it is a nice touch, it's hardly a grand gift to us, potential Witcher 3 buyers.
