...right after I bought them at full price. (Well, there was a small discount for buying them at the same time.)

More fool I, I suppose. Rats.

Just reinforces the idea that you should never, never buy anything at GOG at full bore, because everything goes on sale eventually.

The Witcher games are always discounted, dude. And I think the first one was free for a bit.

Contact support, maybe they can make some arrangement with you.

Other than that, it's not a problem particular to gog, but to any store. How many games have I bought because I thought they were pretty cheap and then, a few months later, before I get the chance to play'em, they become even more bloody cheap.

Bloody hell, I've payed full prices on games just to see them get at least a 50% off about a month later!

That's life in a consumerist society, you don't pay for products, but for your anxiety in having them.

It was free with a purchase. Any purchase. Still, if you made 5 separate purchases, you could get 5 different copies. :P

Yeah, this.

I won't contact support because that's pretty lame to try and get money back on a transaction I willingly engaged in the first place. Just wish I had had a crystal ball at the time!

They have been on sale on steam since yesterday, a discount here on gog was not a total surprise. Even in the event there was no sale here you could still redeem those copies here. Moreover you can't predict if there is going to be a sale for sure. I support what Falci said about how we pay for our anxiety in having said products.

that depends on how much money you have and how much the game is of value for you, i bought darkstone, system shock 2, blade of darkness and wizardry 8 at full price!!!
That's terrible!
It's a good thing you didn't buy more copies for a giveaway.
Of course, I really shouldn't complain. The reason why I bought them was to make up for the games I got for free in a glitch! Since GOG let me keep them, I felt it best to support them directly, ha ha!

I only made the suggestion because blue folks are usually super nice and all.

And now that you mentioned this, I stand even more by my statement. :)

And now you get a nice discount toward the Witcher 3.
