Hi all, happy to see that WC3 has been released! One of the most engrossing PC games I played back in the day.

I don't have a joystick still and looked up ones on amazon. Amazing, they still carry the trusty CH Flightstick Pro!

Might anyone have experience with using USB-connected flight sticks with the combat releases such as Wing Commander 3 and Freespace 2? I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.

Cheers,
wongjp
I just plugged mine in, Windows 7 64-bit detected it, and I was off and running. You can adjust settings using the Control Panel -> Devices & Printers section of Windows. Sometimes the companies have 3rd party software for that also. (e.g. - Logitech)
Some USB joysticks can be tricky - especially older force-feedback sticks that don't have new drivers for new OSes. However, it is possible to get even discontinued ff joysticks working on new operating systems. Basic USB sticks should be okay and be plug-n-play with any system. Good hunting. :)
