I understand, some people may be disappointed, but think about it. You bought the phone because you wanted to get the next year's update, or you bought the phone because it offered great value for you at the time of purchase?

I'm using an Optimus 7 by LG, and seeing that LG is backing away from producing any kind of Microsoft-related devices, I should be crying now. But I am not, because my phone is valuable in its current condition, it does everything I want it to do.

Will I trade it for a Lumia 900? Yes, before I even blink, but still I won't bitch because to get the upgrade, I would need to replace the hardware. It is a phone, not a desktop machine in which you can replace everything.

You know, Microsoft could have lied, like Apple do. Say that all phones get iOS6, even though only the version changes, all new features are for the newest iPhone only.

Yeah, you're right.
It's just that.. giving limited support for a phone that's not even a year old is a bad move and also risky for MS. I mean, the system is good as it is, but has many things that could be improved upon. Nokia is doing their best, but to be honest, the OS still lacks polish compared to iOS. Don't get me wrong, I do like my phone and will keep it.

i really like my WP8 OS. i like it more than iOS i was using.

some really good exclusive games and i like earning xbox acheivments on m phone.

hope more developers jump on board.

We still have to see what actually 7.8 will bring. I doubt it is just the new start screen.

Tango update should be rolling out in the coming weeks for all WP users.
