crazy_dave: I never really watched Enterprise
...
For the new Star Trek, I thought that Scotty and Uhura were okay, but that Karl Urban's McCoy was brilliant.

timppu: Damn, I should probably read some Wikipage article about the Star Trek universe because the different "generations" get my head spinning. Previously I thought there are basically two different "Star Trek generations", namely the old ones with Willian Shatner, and the new ones with the bald Gandhi lookalike (Patrick Stewart).

But apparently there are many more series etc. in the Star Trek universe, Deep Space 9, ST: Voyager etc. etc. etc.? Confusing as hech.

My main knowledge about ST universe comes from the movie "Wrath of Khan", which I saw from video as a small kid. I liked the medieval fight in Jim Carrey's "Cable Guy" as well, funny as heck even though I had never seen the ST TV episode it was referring to.
Original timeline.
|-original startrek-| (80 years?) |-Next Gen-|
................................................................|-Deep space9-|

New movie timeline.
Spock from post voyager era returned to pre original series
|-altered universe-|

Navagon: Of all the threads to necro, a begging thread? A begging thread for games that have absolutely zero chance of appearing on GOG?
But these kids learned something! Rather than opening a brand new thread, they searched for an existing.

Also: I think there's some minus chance of it coming to gog. So in the nega-universe, they just might have it on!

Although the original necro was a reply about the TV show Enterprise, not to continue to OP's plea for Star Trek. :/

Do you really think this is more impossible than some of the other games, licenses, and publishers GOG has managed to get? I'd say the GOG legal team is almost ready for breakfast at Milliways myself ... :)

I wouldn't call that learning something. Unless you call picking up bad habits learning something. I'd much rather they started a new topic. If nothing else it would mean a lot less unwanted replies to the old posts in this thread.

I don't get why people are so adverse to the creation of new topics in this forum. It's a database entry, nothing more.

If nothing else chyron8472 would have looked a lot less crazed. If you passed two people in the street who were having a conversation would you return to that same spot a year later and state your own views on the subject they were discussing all that time ago, even though the two had long since moved on? No? Because that's the kind of thing that a completely insane person would do? Well the only difference between that and this is that this at least retains some vague perception of sanity to the casual observer. But in reality it's not much better.

How by any means is Picard a "Gandhi lookalike?" One is a tiny Indian man with a mustache and big glasses and the other one is Patrick Stewart!

Please compare attached pictures.

Come on, certainly I didn't mean the real Gandhi, but the fake Gandhi!

Ah now I understand. I take back my criticism.

Some like it neat and tidy. :P Of course, it would be just super if the necros took two tents of a second of effort and look at the date the post was posted. Your example of a conversation holds, that's for sure.
