Yes but you have to be a DosBox XP wiz to get them running and looking halfway good. :P

Fortunately there are some nice installers for folks who have the cds.
It would be great to see them on gog but 17 games for a tenner

Yes and for skirmish players that really is nice but I like to play the original campaign and for that I go to:
http://funkyfr3sh.cncnet.org/

And no it isn't illegal because you need the original game to make it work. :D It's kind of like the Blade Runner installer that's been mentioned in here.

I didn't know about this site. So thanks! :D
The Origin collection works really well. EA made a big deal about that collection for whatever reason, so I assume that's why they haven't come to GOG yet.

Worth buying if I already have The First Decade collection?

Not sure because I haven't used that version. How easily do the games run with it? The Origin collection literally boots every game up quick and painlessly, at least in Win7. The freeware versions of the first two games were a huge pain in the ass comparatively.

They work but the first two have some slow downs and like to crash half way through the game.

This is a bit of a longshot, but could you check to make sure the first C&C is patched to v.1.07? There is a nasty bug in the GDI campaign that makes it unwinable without it. For some reason this is an issue only in newer versions.

EDIT: I checked, it's actually 1.02 and it could very well be limited only to TFD pack. This complicates things.

Funny thing is that you could find it as retail relatively cheap ( cheaper than the Origin dlownload price ), though it still requires Origin.
