other TT games are on gog and the first entire season of walking dead (surly you mean episode? nope! SEASON) is totally free to download install and play on android devices.

Nope. Google Play Store might be saying Season, but it's actually only the first episode for free. The rest you must pay through microtransactions. From the game's description:
"Episode 2-5 can be purchased via in-app".

GOG cannot sell anything they haven't got the rights to sell. Your question is best directed towards Telltale, they (and likely Image Comics or whoever owns the franchise) are the ones to decide who gets to sell the games.

really? I swear when I downloaded and installed it sounded as if the entire first season was free, nope I didnt play through it long enough to hit episode 2 paywall doh! (didn't like the touch screen play)

but my original question remains the same if slightly modified,
