Fever_Discordia: What's the deal with Alien Crossfire anyway? - does it make the base game play differently and have more features or is it like extra, alien based, set scenarios?
Definitive the first one. Makes the game twice as good, adds alot of game mechanics, not just only a new scenario.

However one can buy it with simple disc DRM for the same price than here at amazon uk for example

Just not the best offers here. But that's not in our hands.

Yeah, I ended up buying the "Sold Out Software" ( <- company name) Disk version from a local game shop, which has been updated to work on modern systems. so that I can get the expansion pack included.

Would have prefered to buy it from gog but I couldn't wait any longer for the expansion pack to be included.

If you would think a little and got accustomised with this forum and/or GOG's activity it would be so easy to discover that this is probably not GOG's fault, just original publisher's one. GOG can not publish anything without permission - it is NOT warez site.

So post such things as above on EA forum. :)
