torqual76: To get a refund for a broken game is impossible too. Advent Rising is not playable because of corrupted savegame files. You are to enjoy lovely CTD the older and bigger the save game gets. And this is a known bug since the game was released on XBox. Same with Oblivion e.g. My refund request was not worked properly but i got a rerequest from support to send my DX diagnostic files. But its not a hardware problem its a problem of the game, messing up the save game files. So i stopped buying things on gog.com because of this. I am not interested in making business with the other part treating me like a child.
Have a nice day
Yeah, Advent Rising is kind of messed up...it's still a nice game though...I liked it.
But Oblivion? I'm...not sure. Never had a problem with oblivion saves...
Also, I'm yet to meet a customer service that
doesn't treat me like a child. I guess it has to do with patience+helping people with stuff you think simple (since it's your work)=childcare. This is not true, but the customer service personnel can feel that way. It's rather hard to see this clearly from both sides.
I only wrote a letter to GOG once, and they replied fairly quckly, but that was over two years ago. Judging from what people are saying, it really does seem that it's not the intent but the resources which are missing.
