MobiusArcher: Who is S.S. Captain? Its got to be Kirk! Or is it Picard?

Navagon: Martin Iwinski - second link.
Sorry about that post. It was a really bad joke. S. S. Captain = Star Ship Captain. Kirk and Picard are from Star Trek. Again I apologize.

wodmarach: The thing is in German law it's your responsibility to protect your network so if your IP is used to download your legally responsible...
I don't even know what to say to that. Although it would probably involve insulting the intelligence of the German government (again). I guess that explains why the feeding frenzy is occurring in Germany then.

Hey, no need. It's just that a lot of people didn't get what all this was about and yours seemed like the ideal post to use for clarification. Maybe it wasn't but there you go.

Germany is also one of the few countries that requires the ISP to hand out information on who the IP holder is.
Simply put Germany is the kindest to rights holders and makes it very easy to sue infringers.
Forget the hypocrisy involved in this for a moment, and answer me a different question: what the hell am I supporting when I buy games from a man that chooses to call himself 'SS Captain'?
