well just got here a fe days ago and have purchased a couple of games... seems like all the games have pretty much the same additional content(soundtrack, wallpapers, and avatars)...

i got postal 2 and another world(which has pretty nice add. content), and maybe i'll buy outcast...

any suggestions?
You could get VR Soccer just for kicks, no extras as well as a pretty shitty game (according to others, I haven't tried it myself).

mmmm... was this supposed to be helpful? lol
Either Fallout or Might and Magic 6-Pack
FRP's have typically the best additional content. (reference card and such, most times than not a soundtrack)

A few of the specials (just a quick search of my shelf):

Outcast has, among other things, a making of video and outtakes. That's nice.

Lords of the realm has some historical reference.

Ground Control 2, making of video

DN Manhattan project has ... ringtones

And of course, Fallout and it's Bible

Sacred Gold, an original and an "Underground" soundtrack.

Beneath a steel sky - comic book (free! game)

Panzer Elite has some mods

Divine Divinity has a prequel story
Planescape Torment also has a novel made from in-game dialogue, AFAIK...

It is helpful in its own way. I bought VR Soccer (I was jonesing for a sports game) and, while I won't speak ill of the game itself, suffice it to say that it is the game I am most disappointed with so far.

If you're into party-based RPGs, Realms of Arkania 1 & 2 (they come as a bundle) is a pretty good deal. Two games, good tutorials, cluebooks should you need them, and a couple of other odds and ends. The game is pretty in depth as far as the mechanics go. But if you don't mind some micro-management of your characters, it's a good value for the price ($5.99).

well, thank you guys. i'm not really into RPGs but i'll give some of those a try.

i played beneath a steel sky and it's better than i expected :P
Both Tropico and Total Annihilation come with awesome soundtracks. The latter also includes a level editor (and it has a ton of levels anyway).
Duke Nukem 3D has SMS tones. YEAH YOU FUCKING HEARD ME.
