I'd sure love to know where you're pulling that from. As someone who has worked at a fair few Japanese companies, and am still employed by one, I can say that as long as you can speak/write Japanese at a level that will enable you to work in a business environment, you're not going to be refused work by most respectable companies for being a foreigner.
You might find yourself being turned down for a job for being the wrong the gender, but race, contrary to what many overseas my think, is not a big issue. Especially so now as more and more companies switch from a Japanese language business environment to an English language one.
But I'm going to stop there as this is derailing the subject of this topic. And trust me, if the Japanese wanted to use derogatory terms towards foreigners, they have far better choices than to simply say "foreigner".
