While visiting family in ye olde hometown, I stopped by a bookstore that I frequented as a kid. I remember it fondly because it sold packs of, and individual shareware floppies, and it was here that I was exposed to such greats as Epic Pinball (over the course of several months, I managed to collect all 12 tables, each on its own floppy), Blake Stone, and Jazz Jackrabbit.

While browsing the "graphic novel" section (which was a new addition since I'd moved away. Not monthly issues, just omnibuses. And it didn't really say "Graphic Novels", but "Comic Books". Mr. [name withheld] was old fashioned like that), I spied from afar a familiar blue protrusion in the bargain bin. I brushed away the heavily doodled-upon textbook to reveal a mint copy of the Jazz Jackrabbit CD, the "blue protrusion" being his LFG-2000. I ran straight to the checkout counter with it, and asked Mr. [name withheld] how much I owed him for it. "That thing? I'm surprised you found it so close to the top of the bin, it's been here so long. It's yours, Merry Christmas." Maybe my mum had come by and bought her usual assortment of calenders for the New Year, and he figured he'd made enough money for the day or something. Maybe it's because he's "Pro Troops", I dunno. I think I might have actually squealed like that Bill from King of the Hill when he gets excited about something. I might have skipped out the door, too. Anyway, there's your heartwarming, "There's Still Good People" Christmas story for the year.

Exposition aside, where do I go to find custom levels and stuff for the original Jazz Jackrabbit? And how come the Christmas levels and menu aren't activated? I thought they were supposed to be active all throughout December.
