retsuseiba: Does that include mine? Because I can't seem to find any deals of this sort.
I honestly don't know. I've seen it in the US, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Denmark and Poland, and copies seem to do the rounds all the time.

copmarley: Would you pay for abandonware, the game is 20 years old isn't it?
Thank you for brightening my day with a very poorly thought out comment on a forum of a website largely dedicated to selling what you consider to be abandonware.

You should now complete the set and go to a vegetarian website and speak of the benefits of eating meat, and a feminist website and speak about how much you hate "feminazis".

Enebias: If you buy the Fallout Classic Collection you're not giving any money to Bethesda, at least until the (DRM free) Interplay copies are sold out. Want a link? Here it is (sorry GOG, I know I shouldn't post links to other stores, but I think this time is required).
Exactly.

Everybody sound the troll alert!
Let's settle this on a democratic manner: Should I contact one of the blues?

Also, what is wrong with us paying for the stuff we want?

copmarley: It's not available here. If I could get it here I would never have registered in this site.

Because most people do. Is that a surprise to you?

I don't care if the game is bad (the graphics certainly are, it's awful by the screenshots I saw), I don't have to pay.
If I like the game, and if I think I'll play again (rarely happens) I'll be happy to buy the discs (no, steam version never).
Your life definitely sucks if you have to pay for everything you want. You surely have no friends that borrow things to you, for example. I'm sorry for you, boy.

copmarley: Worst community ever.
What a shame, and here we were just about to name you Queen of the Annual GOG Summer Festival! :O

Hmmm, now I guess we'll have to give it to bionicman.
I actually understand the guy and why he would do that. Here where I live most pcs run pirated os and all the other programs also. It's starting to change now slowly but the attitude that the op has is similar to how it is here and I think that the level of piracy is the same in Brazil or even worse.

Nah. I vote for you! You would make a pretty queen! ;-)
Worst community ever? Not really.

Understand that we're a bit sensitive to the whole piracy thing, and some of us also have strong opinions about DRM. You seem to oppose Steam, and maybe the DRM is part of that reason. If so, then maybe you can see where we're coming from...

As I see it, one problem is that much of the industry has a trust issue with its consumer base. This is part of the reason for DRM in games that don't actually require some sort of constant or periodic "phone-home" feature as part of its gameplay (like an MMO, for example, where you have to be online to play). Now, here we are on gOg, trying to convince publishers that we CAN be trusted to buy the games, to not cheat the system, to act as adult consumers who understand that if it's worth playing then it's worth paying for that privilege.

So when people come here and say they'll simply steal games if they can't get it their way then that works against the trust we're trying to build with the developers and publishers, the trust we need in order to keep the DRM - like Steam that you dislike - out of the titles we want to pay for.

In other words, by saying you're going to pirate the games, you're actually making it harder to buy those titles WITHOUT Steam and its DRM. You're working against yourself - and the rest of us - who agree that Steam (really, the DRM) should not be the only option.

And thus the harsh treatment you're receiving.

There is a reason why GoG was born in the country with the strongest and most usual video game piracy in the world for decades.

You are casting pearls before (a) swine(s) here.
Those people will always work against us by encouraging the industry in their opinion that DRM is neccessary. :/
