Chances would possibly be microscopic, since it would involve reaching agreement with Games Workshop and Electronic Arts...

Why haven't you read this yet?
Also, good luck trying to run this game on modern system/hardware.
An EA Games Workshop licensed game? Zero chance. Utterly none.

You're overlooking the fact that Games Workshop would also need to okay EA publishing the game which they can't do right now anyway...

As I said it would need the agreement of *both* companies, since GW owns the Warhammer IP and EA has the rights to the game.

And so I repeat myself: Games Workshop isn't in a position to do so given the deals they currently have in place regarding development and publication of Warhammer-based games.

So no, it doesn't need the agreement of EA. What it needs is for EA to sell the rights to someone who can publish it. But they apparently bought the rights to a D&D game at a time when they were in no position to publish it. So I don't see that happening.
