Planescape Torment hands down , one of the best RPG's ever made ! :)
The Last Express. I'd never played this one before GoG. When I did, it completely redefined the way I think about game narratives and characters (This is important to me since in my spare time I do some game development). It's not perfect, but it was certainly extremely innovative for its time.
From the standpoint of what game I purchased here and played the most, it would be Icewind Dale.

From the standpoint of what has been the best overall game as far as total time invested, but not necessarily the GOG version itself, it's hands down NWN, as I've owned and played that for years but I bought it from GOG as well (although I've not played my GOG version yet since I still have my original installed on my PC).

This man/woman speaks the truth.

My second would probably be out of the games i had not played before gog

Sanitarium
All of them, I guess.

If I had to choose, I might say Blood.

Edit: The Witcher 2 was nice too :)

Of the games that I've bought and actually played, I'd say The Witcher when it was on that huge discount thing. I own some Collector's Edition sort of retail package, but just for the hell of it I bought the downloadable version and gifted it to a few friends as well. Couldn't let an offer like that pass by, could I?

I do have a pretty massive backlog, though. Looking forward to Sanitarium.
So many good purchases to choose between. Giants was the biggest reason I joined this site. I think there was an Interplay sale the first weekend GOG opened or something like that, and I bought Giants and got Sacrifice as a bonus, then bought the Fallout games soon after because they are legendary. Absolutely loved the MDK games. And Ultima Underworld is probably the best value in the catalogue - each game is worth the purchase price on its own, and they're prehistoric but DAMN they aged well.

Overall the game that surpassed my expectations the most was Psychonauts; that's especially impressive because I had very high expectations before playing it.
Best value for money:
Neverwinter Nights Diamond (because of its great modding potential and the awesome community; I already owned the retail copy though and got the GOG version as a prize)

Greatest game:
Planescape Torment (already owned the retail copy though)

I also love Psychonauts and Beyond Good & Evil but got them for free, too (yeah, I'm a lucky devil, but at least in the case of Psychonauts I was so happy that I bought and gifted two copies for others to enjoy).

So, the best actual "purchase", I think, was Enclave. Got it for $2 and didn't expect to have so much fun with it. Second favorite of the ones I payed for would be Arx Fatalis, bought at full price but worth every cent.
