Export: Apparently Mace Griffin is also on PC. You could try that version out since, depending on your machine, it will probably have better graphics.

carnival73: Dooo tell. *rubs hands together mischieviously*

Any sites selling it .......or DOSBoxing it?
o.0

The game came out on the PS2... assuming the PC version was contemporary, what's the likelyhood of it running on DOSBox? XD
If your meaning this then it wasnt really any good on the PC IMHO

Edit: by the way it works with Vista 32 and earlier, dunno about 64 and later.

Ah, yes......the game would definitely not be DOSBox old.
Didn't think that one through. *blushes*

It was ok. It's main selling point was Mace was voiced by Henry Rollins. It was an average shooter and an average space shooter but together it was decent enough.

makesense95: ive been searching for a game like this on pc..i may try Parkan II
You might also check out the game Precursors. it's a Russian game that is apparently quite buggy but is also fairly awesome, and combines FPS gameplay on planets with some space sim flying and dogfighting.

The English language version is available from Gamersgate but apparently it's really crappy because they literally ripped out all the Russian voices, which makes the audio all messed up. Fortunately, Wesp5 has made a translation patch (which has grown to become a full-on unofficial patch) that will translate the Russian game. The Russian version can be purchased from Yuplay, but you need to actually use the Russian language version of the site so it's a little tricky. I managed to do it though, but I haven't gotten around to playing the game yet as I'm in the middle of some others and I'm waiting for improved translation patches. So I haven't played it firsthand but people seem to think the game is awesome, if you can work past the hassles in getting it running in English and can deal with some bugs.

Rock, Paper, Shotgun talk about the Gamersgate English version here. The unofficial English patch is here.

EDIT: If you check around some various forums, for example at SpaceSimCentral, there are many people who will be happy to help you figure out how to get the game running with proper sound.
