Elmofongo: did you play SR3 on Consoles or Steameither way can i buy the season pass for the game anytime i want?
I have it on Steam. Yeah you can buy the Season Pass anytime, but I don't know whether it comes with all the DLC. According to Gamersgate, it only comes with Genkibowl, Gangstas and Clones.

good enough for me then since i am getting this for xbox
Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 / Winning Eleven 2013 looks like will restore my faith in the series again after excellent first demo. Will not hesitate to buy the game at day 1.

Last big budget title that i really enjoyed, i can't remember much. Maybe it was Witcher 2.

They finally got the license to brazilian teams. That one also got my hopes up. I always preferred PES over FIFA, but in the last few years FIFA has been a superior game in every way.

lowyhong: Oh I guess the thread title is a bit ambiguous. Sorry for poor choice of words. I meant "really enjoyed" in the sense that the game draws you to it in some way, giving you more entertainment than you expected. Maybe it really hooked you in with the story, like Spec Ops: The Line. May even be a game that you're currently playing. It's something that you would easily give 4.5 - 5 stars to.
Ah.

I guess Skyrim? Skyrim is pretty amazing and more than makes up for the lackluster Oblivion, in my opinion. I came home for a 2 month summer vacation and planned to play a ton of games but ended up playing Skyrim 90% of the time.

Mass Effect 3 would be the only other recent one I would rate that high, but probably not quite. It was a little disappointing and not as good as ME1 and ME2, in my opinion.

Me too. There's something about FIFA that i feel shallow. Maybe it's because of the dull AI in offline mode, not much variety in build up play, and lack of inertia. This time i'll not look back. Second demo will roll out on 28th - 29th August for consoles and early September for PC.
Dragon's Dogma :P, I've played pretty much every AAA Title released this year but that was easily the best for me. Other notable mentions are Darksiders II, The Darkness II and yeah, that's about it. I feel 2012 has been quite the letdown so far, but I know that the next few months are going to really be awesome...

A AAA game I have really, insanely high expectations for is Borderlands 2, And if it meets them then the gaming world should stop and look in awe.

Borderlands 2 will be great, but my most anticipated game this year is Dishonored.

To be honest, Dishonored looks like it could be a hit or miss game.

Currently playing Dark Messiah of M&M and it is really great. I've got great trust in Arkane.

Oh, I didn't mean it would be a bad game by any standards, I just said it looks like it will cater to a specific audience
(Like Dark Souls, Dragon's Dogma and Sleeping Dogs)

Gazoinks: I basically divide the TW games into two tiers: Map and Battles. My favorite battles are:
-Medieval 2
-Shogun 2
-Rome
-Empire
-Napoleon

Whereas my favorite maps are:
-Empire
-Medieval 2
-Rome
-Shogun 2
-Napoleon

So Medieval 2 is the most well-balanced for me, but I can spend more time with Empire thanks to the scope. And, in case you can't tell, I found Napoleon pretty lame. >.>
Personally I'd put Rome further down the map list on account of how unbalanced it was in a long campaign. Distance to Capital was a factor that could turn a civilised city into a bunch of mad, rioting bastards who'd never surrender no matter how many thousands you kill. It just didn't make sense.

Equally I'd switch it with Medieval 2 for battles due to the more interesting unit types available.
