Fenixp: I think it's only fitting to say here: Don't feed the troll. Hey, maybe anjohl believes what he's saying. Maybe something actually leads him towards the delusion that he's always right and everyone else is always wrong. That doesn't change the fact that he's unable to understand even simplest principles of subjectivity, so explaining quantum mechanics to him seems fairly pointless.
It's generally a good idea to avoid discussion with someone who describes himself as a martyr and manages to be smug while doing so.

I think there is a difference between having a contrary or unpopular opinion to the rest of the group and being a troll. I think that trolling is where you just say things with the goal of making people angry or upset, not actually prove a point.

Exactly. There are many trolls around here, and I am not one. Do I sometimes prod someone to get a rise out of them? Sure. Do I sometimes exaggerate a bit to provoke a response? Sure.

I consider the internet an art form, and all of us are playing roles. The internet isn't real, all these convictions over Amanda Todd comments illustrate the importance of understanding this. Interacting with others online is completely different than in real life. Many of my biggest "fans" would likely be very, very shocked if they met the person behind the keyboard.

It's all theater, everything.
