I've got my PC cleaned up, but there's something on it that worries me. It's called Whitesmoke Translator. I don't remember installing it and I don't know what it is. Is it a threat?
EDIT: I searched it on Norton's website (though I don't use Norton) and apparently it is a virus.

Shit. I guess I should follow the steps in the link posted. I'll get my dad to do it though. I panic when this stuff happens.
Do a Malware bytes scan. Also, I would consider doing a factory reformat (backing up files, games and programs first), as if you have this malware, you probably have more.

Ensure you have a top antivirus installed - Avira or Microsoft Security Essentials.

I initially misread the thread title and though it was about that band whitesnake, the malware description still fits pretty well
