Export: Shogun 2 is quite bad, but Europa Universalis III's is so bad it actually puts me off playing it whenever I'm in the mood. On my last PC, it possibly took about 8 minutes to start up.

AFnord: And you are able to play Shoung 2 on that? *blinks* EU3 loads pretty fast on my computer, and it is not Shogun compatible (I think, I have not tried). Crusader Kings 2 takes over a min to load, and then another ½min to load a save, which is quite annoying, but the game is worth it.
On my last PC, I said. On this current PC, which can do Shogun 2 on max, EU3 stll takes absolutely ages to load when you run it. I have no idea why when all it's loading is a map that may as well be 2D and lots of numbers.

They all used to have a ton of them. I remember Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines being especially awful though with loads. A lot of the RPGs were. Morrowind took forever when it was released now that I think about it, but I forget because I upgraded my PC to play it faster. NWN was another one.

A lot of the FMV games had long loads. The sandbox games had very long transition loads too. Postal 2 is pretty bad with that. Fun game though, just picked it up on the GoG sale. Was just thinking about it too. Never actually played it when it came out, mainly because I hated the first one.

LiquidOxygen80: Asteroids on the Vic20, on cassette, because my dad was too cheap to get the ram expansion and disk drive for it. >.<
