Getcomposted: There's a Lords of Xulima beta release on Steam. Not early access or on the store front, they just used Steam as the beta vehicle. I take it you pledged below $45?
Yes. I'm not too fussed about playing the beta, though. I just want to play it when it's finished.
The only game I ever pre-ordered is The Witcher 3, so it will be a while until I can get my hands on it. I backed Wasteland 2, though, so I guess that game can qualify! ;)
I'm also waiting for Risen 3, but I won't buy it until Deep Silver sells it here.
Games im waiting for this year:

Stronghold Crusader 2

Plaque Inc: Evolved

Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void

Planetary Annihilation

Prison Arhitect

To End All Wars by Ageod

Dying Light
etc.

deadfolk: Guardians of the Galaxy (film): next week!

Elite Dangerous Beta: Guess? That's right.

Getcomposted: I'm a bit meh about the whole Guardians of the Galaxy thing. It's certainly not high in my list of favourite team comics. I read it for a while, but it never really gelled with me, even when they tried to include high profile characters such as Phoenix. And the reboot? Meh as well.

Elite: Dangerous beta. That one I forgot about. I pre-ordered based on who's making it and it's pedigree, but we were dirt poor throughout my childhood when the originals came out, so no computer and no chance to play it. I think I pre-ordered just to see what the fuss was all about.
I loved the Dan Abnett run of Guardians. The current stuff is poo, however.

Crosmando: I was thinking of ordering a Nintendo 3DS this month, in time for the EU/PAL release of Shin Megami Tensei IV. Would actually be the first "console" (or handheld) I've ever purchased (for a single game at that), as my old PS1 was given to me by my parents long ago.
Have they actually confirmed an EU release for this? I haven't seen it anywhere.

This month?
I am still waiting for my English version of Morrowind GOTY to finally arrive. I can't wait to try new Morrowind Overhaul http://www.ornitocopter.net/morrowind-overhaul/mgso-release/
The other game I ordered is Return to Castle Wolfenstein Special Edition. This should arrive this month as well.
Beside that: GTR Evolution + Race 07 and Witcher The Enhanced Edition - both in big boxes, Polish distributors.

Longer perspective?
I'd love to see a big korean MMORPG, like Blade & Soul, Bless or Black Desert hit Europe soon enough.
As it goes for single player games - I have enough for more than a lifetime already :D
Death...
Oh wait, pre-orders and such?
None, there is nothing that makes me even slightly excited coming this year.
What I'm waiting for (not really in one month):

-Bayonetta 2: I loved the original, and having it bundled (at least where I'm at) with Bayonetta 2 is a nice touch as well (even though, from what some Platinum guys say, the loading times are slightly longer. Eh, more time to practice combos with the new costumes). I did pre-order it at one point, but I decided to cancel because shipping was a little too much when looking at it again. Might be a day one for me...I don't know.

-Binding of Isaac: Rebirth: Eh, I liked the original (even though it felt a bit too lenient in terms of difficulty). I'm rather curious how this version of the game will play out (and no more flash, as far as I can tell from Edmund's blog. Yay!).

-GOG Galaxy: Despite the rather interesting way GOG handled the release of Divinity: Original Sin, I'm still wondering how it's going to turn out.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head in terms of "Oh yeah, I'm really looking forward to this/that."

Thanks! Shame it's digital only, but better than nothing.
Waiting also for Machines at War 3 on gog.com. Hopefully it gets released soon.

Waiting to see if Rockstar Sells out to Valve by only releasing GTA V on Steam

Oh yeah I'm also waiting for hell to freeze over so Valve can disappear off the face of this planet.

Eagerly? Nothing, at all.
I kinda miss that electrical feeling when sheer anticipation (about anything) could keep me up at night, imagination all fired up. In terms of games, the two games I most eagerly awaited were Daggerfall back in 1996 and Little Big Adventure 2 in 1997. I pored over the previews in the gaming magazines, the tiny printed screenshots coming to life in my mind.
I timed the purchase of my Pentium 200 MMX just so I could play Little Big Adventure 2 instantly when it was released, knowing that any more anticipation was too much to handle for my impatient younger self. Part-timed at a copy shop and as a cable car operator in the Alps to buy that computer. All I thought about during work was calculating how much money I was making and thinking about what hardware components I could buy with that money. Eagerly awaiting hardware as much as software.

Nowadays, I feel a mild anticipation at best, usually with TV shows like Game of Thrones which I usually binge watch in season sized bites for convenience.
