I just noticed that hostile waters is no longer listed in the gog catalog and cant seem to find a reason or even mention of that on the forums. I don't spend much time online so it doesn't surprise that I missed any news/announcements on the subject but I was hoping someone can shed some light on this and whether or not we can hope to see it back.

i don't like that. i do understand that contracts run out and for various reasons publishers cannot/don't want to extend them but why no notice?

it would surely motivate some people to buy it so xtra coin for gog and publisher.

Great. That's all my wallet needs. The ever existing fear that waiting for that promotion will lead to a missed opportunity to even get the game.

Either it's just a glitch or it was summarily removed from catalogue like it happened with Obscure. IIRC we didn't get any sort of warning the game was due for removal back then either.

Here is hoping that's its just a glitch, otherwise my butt is going to be blue from self-inflicted kicking for waiting to buy it

Wow, that is weird and slightly disturbing.
I tend to prioritize my purchases and had put Hostile Waters onto my "Check it out when it's on sale sometime" pile.
If they had given notice that this was the last week (for example) I probably would've bought it just to make sure I didn't miss out.

Theres a post on FB asking about it, The PR folk are usually faster to answer than support tickets

Hopefully it's some sort of clitch as GOG staff don't tend to work on weekends so there's no one to pull the plug. Then again, it's not like this hasn't happened before.

Well, with the total lack of any comments from the site owners either here or on FB I am thinking that the game has indeed been removed for some reason...Let the self-kicking commence

Edit: and once again i really need to learn to spend more time on forums digging. There is indeed an explanation from the site owners and a hope that the game will return, it was just placed in the actual hostile waters forum section rather then general.
