With how many times the wendigo has been reimagined/interpreted, I get the feeling that every single person in this thread is talking about a different "wendigo."

Yeah what about the cannibal wendigos?

That's what I was thinking. People are talking about yetis, bigfoots, and werewolves, but the wendigo I know is way different (scarier) from those.

What about the winnebagos?

Sam & Max: Hit the Road is all about Bigfoots! Well, it's not really a scary game, though Max' one-liners are sometimes creepy... :-D

Hopefully this isn't too much of a necro... But just saw this on Kotaku & looked pretty close to Wendigo. They're apparantly mutant cannibals, but the cannibal part is key to the Wendigo as well. Maybe it's the game you were hoping for? I think it looks interesting.
